Here is the new Alicia Keys song 'No One'. It's a beautiful song, one that makes you think of your significant other as you listen, like it did for me. This is not an actual music video. It is a collage of pictures, of Alicia, put together by some creative youtuber. One thing though, the first time I heard the song (and actually every time after) I could have sworn I was listening to Keyshia Cole until the radio personality ( Ryan Cameron ) said it was Alicia Keys. What do you think? After listening to the song does she sound like Keyshia Cole to you?

This is our third week of school and this morning I started the kids off with a video that D. found for us called Su per Size Me . We've been studying the differences of eating healthy vs. not eating healthy and the consequences of both. Two weeks ago we watched a video that I came across on Opal's website called Raw for 30 Days , which is a show based on reversing full blown adult diabetes and the use of Insulin in 30 days by using only raw & natural foods. The documentary was tested on Americans (Men & Women) who are over weight, and have been on Insulin for some time. The results are amazing! You should take a look. These two videos go right along the lines of our commitment as a family to become aware of the food we choose to eat. A couple of years ago we were successful in switching our fo od choices to plenty raw and organic foods and in doing so we saw some positive results. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and checked out David' blog. I hope you also took some time to visit our business website. We are so excited about our new venture and hope all the best for it's success. One of the things that David has always been wanting to do is work from home so that he could be closer to his family. I remember when we first got married, after the honeymoon was over and it was time for him to go to work, I would miss him something terrible. We would talk all day on the phone (wait a minute, we still do that now..lol) so that we could feel like we were in the same room. We would talk about our "job duties", what our children were up to, our future, hopes and dreams. Everything, you name it, we talked about it, and still do. I think this look is rather unflattering to the feminine body. However, it seems to be on the side of accepting what's "in" these days and disregarding the fact that it doesn't make your body more attractive. And what really baffles me is the way that it's influenced through songs such as " Tatted UP ". Even our professional athletes have ruined their bodies with such excessive markings. How unfortunate!

Do you have any special requests today? That's what he asked. Who?, You are asking? My masseur, Denzel. Last Thursday afternoon I had another visit to the spa. I say another because I went the spa on the Saturday before and my experience left much to be desired. I visited a different location so I didn't know what to expect, but I hoped for the best. Let's just say, not again. Now where was I, oh last Thursday. He was great, wasn't my regular, but I enjoyed every bit of it. His hands were firm, not to rough. He applied the right amount of oil, and it smelled good too. It was a citrus scent. He took care of all of my aches and pains. Just how I like it. But the real fun happened inside the steam room. Hmm, what kind of fun could I have in a hot steam room, all by myself, completely undressed, with a towel by my side? You think about it. hahahahahah.....a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! Can you say Stressed!!! You know what's funny, I take life way too serious at times. Things always have to go a certain way, every things always got to be perfect. I end up overwhelming myself and become stressed. I wish I could be more relaxed and let my hair down, oh I have no problem doing that literally, but emotionally I'm just not there...yet! I'm a perfectionist at fault. When things don't go my way...well let's just say I end up apologizing. Worse yet, taking on the Samurai worriors Spirit, and I know just where to put the sword. What can I say I'm a work in progress. Not perfect (yet)! But you know what? My children will never see anything other than perfection, because to them I AM MOMMY and that means the world to them. I am here, steady, and available for every scrape on their knees, every new word they want to read, every good and bad dream, EVERYTHING! And to D. you can find out here what I mean to him. (Sometimes it's the little things that get their attention and shows them how much you care. Believe me they notice). Last night I made one of my hubby's favorite treats. He would make this dish all the time. I would only make it on rare occasions. We haven't had it in....well it's been too long to remember, but tonight I decided to take it off the shelf and make it. He was out in garage doing some work and when he came in he said " I noticed that you are making that, and I wanted to tell you that I am impressed", he smiled and then went back outside. It sent chills up my spine. What a good feeling. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you what it was, J-E-L-L-O ;) (island pineapple flavor to be exact)!

Two Thursday's ago it was D.'s birthday and let me tell you what an incredible Man I have. It was his birthday and he decides to surprise me with a trip to the Salon. He hung out with little j. while I spent 3 hours in the Salon. Every now and then this is the kind of thing that he does for me, just because and it reminds me of what I have in him . I haven't been to the Salon since little j. was born and that's been 8 months now. I really needed my hair done (colored, permed and trimmed) and he knew how badly I've been wanting to go. It's not easy leaving your breastfeed baby for many hours at a time. Those things I've just accepted had to wait until my babies got a little older to go more than 3 hours without nursing. His Mom came over to stay with the kids so it was a perfect time for us to spend together celebrating his day. We eventually did, just after my appointment.
