As the school year comes to a close for some, in our house it’s just begun…again! We teach our children all year round with breaks in between; one of the many benefits to Homeschooling. We do this for many reasons. It allows us time to work on other projects that are not centered around curriculum based learning. An example of this is when things pick up in our business ventures, lessons are not interrupted just turned towards another focus to pursue accomplishing that task. Our children are very much a part of everything we do as what we do is all about family and moving to the next level in our lives as a whole. Life is a full learning experience. I feel the breeze blowing through my window, maybe it’s coming to clear my mind, maybe it’s coming to bring me peace, maybe it’s coming to play or simply coming to be with me. What makes you, you? What makes you special? What are your gifts and talents? Why are you here?. . . Do you know? Do you care to know? How much does it matter that you know? Who will it matter to that you know?. . . Think about it, right it down and keep it close. Do this just incase you forget and start drifting away from the special YOU that you are. I Just Love Basketball!!   ~Previous Men of the Hour post!

Last Friday night I had an all ladies event and we had a blast!! I love to get together with women, men, kids…whoever would love to have fun and enjoy my company. Growing up watching my Aunt’s and Uncle’s have a grand ole time at parties, dancing, drinking and having fun just sparked something in my bones to always want it! Especially the fact that my family is from the West Indies, Trinidad at that, I’ve got Trini in me bones!! LOL! It really doesn’t matter what kind of party/event, I aim to have a good time and that’s what I did Friday and Saturday night (post about Saturday night coming soon). My event on Friday was all about showing these pretty ladies how they can lose 3 sizes in 10 minutes without starvation or surgery. This thing is crazy ya’ll!! And blowing up in the ATL!! Just the other day I had the pleasure to sit in the chair of a beautiful loctician and feel her loving tender touch as she cared for my hair. As many of you may know this was a BIG step for me; going natural that is. And then to top it off, locing my hair. It’s been a great and wonderful experience so far, one that I am very happy that I decided to make. My journey is coming along beautifully especially since I’ve connected with Sunshine. She’s had her locs for 9 years now and they are beautiful. I trust her with not only my hair but my daughters as well. Thanks Sunshine!! When I say there is never a dull moment in my house I am true to my word! Life is such an awesome experience and privilege, wouldn’t you agree? Even though I was away from my online life. . . life was still going on. My events and happenings was taken to the streets and what was produced was nothing short of excellent fun, relating, connecting, socializing and good times!! Over the past few weeks I’ve re-united with many of my highschool friends, all through Facebook (gotta love it!) and it’s been great. Now many of them are readers of my blog and becoming long lasting friends, I’m just grateful for that. One of them in particular just completed a fantastic project with me, it felt better than old times. I will write about it soon! We are not done yet. . . the best is still yet to come from us, isn’t that right lady!! David and I are always up to something good and if we weren’t I’d be worried.
