I Got You On My Mind....Now Go Away!

Have you ever felt like you were drowning in your to-do-list? Mine is so long I can't see the end in sight. From checking school work, to creating lesson plans, to cooking, laundry, to writing reviews and offering giveaways to clearing my inbox to staying social in all of my social networks to...oh yeah my new addiction, tweeting. To calling my friends, my parents and extended family to spending time with my hubby and my babies. The "to-do-list" keeps growing and growing and growing and then it starts growling at me. "Hey, what about this and what about that? Huh...huh? Until I find myself wanting to bury my head under my pillow and say forget it! I'm Done! Call on someone else! I should have taken the blue pill!

Oh well, I can't seem to find my pillow and I ripped up my to-do-list, in the process of creating a new one. Maybe this one will be more friendly, I don't like being yelled at. I'm in the middle of writing some awesome reviews and giveaways for you guys. You're going to want to keep looking out for those. School is going well for us, we are picking up the pace and the kids are really feeling it. I thought I saw Gabby give me the evil eye yesterday but I didn't pay her any mind. My MIL is has not gone back to Trinidad yet so D. and I are planning a weekend getaway, soon. And, that new header D. was working on for me has been some what short of a nightmare and I don't think it will happen anytime soon which I'm cool with, keeping it sexxy is always good!

You've got to go check out, Sheliza. She cut it all off and is still fly as all get up :-) She's one brave chicka! And I know she's gonna put a smile on a few faces.
Gina is going through right now. Pay her a visit and send some love, please.
MommyDaddy is getting settled in their new place. They had some guest bloggers filling in for them, go check it out.
Torrance don't make fun of me *sticking tongue out* I love doing tags. The next one I get I'm coming after you...LOL. By the way...beautiful post!

I'm off to get some much needed writing done but I'm sooo tempted to tweet, that's bad. Seriously, off to get some work done. Maybe I'll be back when I take my ice cream break. My local grocery store (Kroger) had a sinful sale on their Blue Bell Ice Cream and we stocked up...LOL. It's usually $6 and change for a half gallon but it was on sale for $2.88, what a deal. Homemade Vanilla, yummy! Candy Jar...to die for but after a while gets too sweet for me. I gotta take my time with that one ;-)

Exactly how I feel. Now that we're finally getting settled in our new home, stuff has just been piling up and my to-do list is about a mile long. Sometimes I'll just stare at my to-do list and all the stuff that has to get done and get discouraged. I'd get distracted and then nothing would get done.

But now I've learned to just pick just a few important things to do for the day and don't worry about the rest. Once those few things are done, I move on to another set of few things. This way I don't overwhelm myself. Try that out and see if that works for you!

  2. Lisa, you are always so generous with the compliments! Girl, my hubby is acting all jealous with my new look cause I am getting so much attention! LOL! I am loving it! I love Kroger. That is the only place I buy ice cream cause they always have something good on sale. Try their Private Selection brand. It is shockingly as good as the top brands. Their vanilla is delish! On another note, I make a short to do list daily and don't always complete it. I used to go bananas if I did not get it all done but I have changed a whole lot. I do what I can and still maintain a good balance. A mommy's to do list will never end!

  3. Lisa my to-do list is on auto feed. Every time I complete something five more tasks automatically spit out. I can't seem to find the 'off' switch. ;-)

Sheliza~ I can see why he's getting all jealous, it looks hot :-)

You shop at kroger too? That sale was crazy, I'm glad we caught it. I'll try their private selection but I don't know if I'll be able to convince D. He's a Blue Bell man to heart.

Shae-Shae~ LOL girl that's too funny. Hope you had a good day.
