Do you know what I love about this beautiful soul? Her PASSION! Whatever she does you can see it oozing out of her and watch it as it spills all over the audience. And, I can particularly (even for a moment) feel the jolt of energy that surges through her husband as he watches on. What a turn on!!
I'm a fan of Beyonce' drive for excellence and I'm wishing her and Jay-Z the best as they embark on this new journey of parenting. What a musically inclined child this will be.
I enjoyed her performance and as usual, her intentional statement at the end, revealing her newly found joy and love brewing in her womb.

My Monday Morning Started At 11:00PM...Last Night!

We had to take little j. to the Doctor this morning because last night he didn't sleep good and neither did we. He kept crying and crying and wouldn't stop. We were completely thrown because he had such a good day. Could it be: 1. He's teething and it's bothering him? Yes, but a little baby Orajel and infants Tylenol should have done the trick. It didn't. 2. I ate something that didn't agree with him? Of course we couldn't come up with anything. 3. He was just so tired from everything we did yesterday and it was hard for him to fall asleep? Maybe. 4. He got bit by a bug and we didn't know? We checked all over, no bites. We even checked to see if there was a piece of hair wrapped around his little fingers and toes. None! 5. Because he's teething he could have an ear infection? Yes very possible but he didn't show the usual signs: fever, pulling at his ears (that looked like it was out of the norm for him because it's something he does often...

The other day a friend of mine asked me, where have you been? She then proceeded to say, it's like you fell off the face of the earth. I laughed and said, "no, I've actually fallen onto the face of the earth". Girl, thanks for that little laugh, I appreciated the moment :) I've fallen onto the face of the earth and bumped right into my family, friends (old and new), business partners, business meetings, social gatherings, moms meetings, and so many activities for the kids, life has been busy. My natural journey has opened so many doors, talk about beautiful women. Sistah's who have inspired me to keep going and stay focused on the end result rather than the transitioning stage. These days I mostly wear my hair in a ponytail-bun. I don't have time to get all fancy, but when I can I'll do a two-strand twist style and use my latest product discovery, Oyin Handmade .
