I have so much time to do some of the other things I love to do other than blogging, it's been wonderful! I love to curl up and read a good book. It doesn't matter what kind of book either. I love romance novels, self-help, erotica, fiction, drama and so on and so on. Well, the other day I was at the library, by the way I don't think I ever mentioned that the reason I started going to the library and not my usual star bucks or the local book store is because they sell way too many sweets so I had to stay away. How else am I going to maintain this hot mama figure. Anyways back to the library. While I was there I spotted a book on my way in that had a very interesting title so I grabbed it up and didn't even read the inside or back cover until I sat down. I do that sometimes, it's a quick way to find books without having to browse up and down the isles or look it up on computer plus it doesn't cut in to my allotted "me" time. The title of the book is,...

Back To the Emergency Room We Go....

Little Joshie (now 18 months) has injured his collar bone. Ok, that's putting it lightly, he actually broke it in half, it split right through. They were all dancing in the den on Friday evening and all of a sudden he just slipped. It caught me by surprise because he's fallen down before and hurt himself, gets up and thinks nothing of it. He's fallen off the bed and just brushes that off too. So I was shocked when this happened because it looked like he just slipped in his socks and landed on the floor. I looked at him for a minute (I didn't want to startle him with a crazy reaction) and then he just started to bawl. I picked him up, calmed him down, held him in my arms and he fell asleep. I thought everything was ok but when he woke up I could see that he was in a little discomfort. I watched him for the rest of the night, kept checking his arm, it just looked like he bruised it and it was sore. That night I gave him some medicine for pain and we went to bed. The nex...

I Was On Lock Down

Image
Today is such a beautiful day compared to just a few days ago. It seems as if all we are getting around here is thunder storms and the many warnings that have come along with them. I was at the library on Tuesday enjoying some "me" time when over the loud speaker the librarian said that there was going to be a thunder storm watch in this area. She sounded kind of startled and at the end apologized if she had scared anyone. It didn't scare me or anything just got me to thinking about that F2 that hit downtown Atlanta a little while ago so, I started wrapping up this post so I could get out of there. No less than two minutes went by when she came across the loud speaker again saying, that there is now a thunder storm warning for our area and we are locking the library doors so no one can leave and for every one to please move to the safe areas away from the windows. What? Ok, now I got a little concerned but stayed calm and just did what she said. As I was packing up I no...

I Blog Guilt Free, NOT!

Image
Take a look, if you will, in my side bar at the little cute button that says, " I Blog Guilt Free ". I added that button and joined the group of eager bloggers coming together to admit, let go of and unload their desires to actually blog guilt free. I guess, by putting it on paper (in this case, online) solidifies it, huh? What is blogging guilt free exactly? Many of you will have your own answer to that question, here's mine. It means to blog or not to blog at your own will not the will of your readers. This does not apply, however to the many of you who's blog is mainly designed or created to make money. I understand the things you have to do. This applies to the many of us who blog for personal reasons, fun, a refuge, to meet online friends and to voice your two cents in whatever matter you choose. It means, slowing down when you need to or your family needs you to and not allow yourself to feel the pressure to have to be there. It means not feeling guilty if y...
