Moving Along..

Over this past weekend we got a lot accomplished with our move. I'm looking forward to this part of it being over with so that we can be settled in our new home.

This post sets me up for one of my "filling in the blanks" posts. If you've read my about me page you would know what I'm talking about. After I'm done writing it I will link it here.

    Congratulations on moving to new digs, that’s something, I really don’t care for. Seems when I last moved I found all types of lost treasures, kept some and tossed some.

    The reason I dropped in was a new blog rating system, I have it listed on my blog and might be something that would interest you? All you have to do is enter your blogs URL and copy and paste the html code.

    My blog was rated PG, what will yours be rated?

    Congrats on getting moved!!! I'm so glad you've made it and seem to be on to a better and brighter tomorrow. I've found that sometimes silence makes space for healing to begin.

My Monday Morning Started At 11:00PM...Last Night!

We had to take little j. to the Doctor this morning because last night he didn't sleep good and neither did we. He kept crying and crying and wouldn't stop. We were completely thrown because he had such a good day. Could it be: 1. He's teething and it's bothering him? Yes, but a little baby Orajel and infants Tylenol should have done the trick. It didn't. 2. I ate something that didn't agree with him? Of course we couldn't come up with anything. 3. He was just so tired from everything we did yesterday and it was hard for him to fall asleep? Maybe. 4. He got bit by a bug and we didn't know? We checked all over, no bites. We even checked to see if there was a piece of hair wrapped around his little fingers and toes. None! 5. Because he's teething he could have an ear infection? Yes very possible but he didn't show the usual signs: fever, pulling at his ears (that looked like it was out of the norm for him because it's something he does often...

The other day a friend of mine asked me, where have you been? She then proceeded to say, it's like you fell off the face of the earth. I laughed and said, "no, I've actually fallen onto the face of the earth". Girl, thanks for that little laugh, I appreciated the moment :) I've fallen onto the face of the earth and bumped right into my family, friends (old and new), business partners, business meetings, social gatherings, moms meetings, and so many activities for the kids, life has been busy. My natural journey has opened so many doors, talk about beautiful women. Sistah's who have inspired me to keep going and stay focused on the end result rather than the transitioning stage. These days I mostly wear my hair in a ponytail-bun. I don't have time to get all fancy, but when I can I'll do a two-strand twist style and use my latest product discovery, Oyin Handmade .
