The Queens Rocked the House!

With Mom In Mind   is an event for Moms (and aspiring Moms) that aims encourage, support, lift up and help see us through this journey of Motherhood. It truly embodies the spirit of togetherness, joy, laughter and sisterhood. We were never meant to take this journey alone (as many of us try and fail so miserably at doing), so when there is an opportunity to walk with someone, you do it without hesitation. When you feel like you’re at your last, when things just don’t seem to be going in your favor, when we question our ability to mother our babies, family and community we need to be able to look up and grab the hand that is reaching out, in love, to catch you when you fall.  We need community. We need support. We need each other, for without Mothers where would we be? Tiffany, from I Love My Temple Yoga & Wellness Center started us of with an invigorating Yoga session that opened us up, stretched us out and got our juices flowing for the things to come. I Arise ~

This morning, I arise as Love, as the Queen that I am ~ This morning I arise and take seat on my throne and as I sit on my throne, I Create. My thoughts are deliberate, centered and focused. I am in control of creating my Life and how I experience it. It is up to me to paint the picture the way I want to see it and consciously think it and live it each and everyday. I Arise ~ The courage that I need to do this is already present. My gift to me is giving in to that courage and allowing that courage to guide me in each moment. There is no past, there is no future, just my present moment. I Arise ~ I am a shell encasing a beautiful, bountiful spirit. I am spirit in my shell. When I look in the mirror at my reflection I embrace all of me, with the full knowledge that ALL is good. And as I sit, looking into the mirror my appreciation begins to deepen for the beautiful soul looking back at me.
